This site contains the work of Raymond Harvey (12 June 1927 - 15 September 2008).
Over a period of decades he researched the Harvey family’s history and created the Harvey Family Tree genealogy database. It contains over 21 500 individuals dating back to around 1420 AD. An amazing achievement. He travelled overseas on several occasions researching and walking in the footsteps of his ancestors.
The Harvey Family Tree link at the top of the main page (www.harveyhistory.info) takes you to his family history database. The other links are to his very first Harvey Family Tree web site (the early days of his research) and Harvey Shipbuilders (Research & published by Ray Harvey with added information supplied by Christopher Goddard, a descendant of Thomas Harvey’s son Fred).
This site is maintained by his grandson Leigh Harvey (me). I do not do family history research and all of the information that I have is on this site. Access is only restricted for the details of those still living or recently dead (Australian Privacy Law).
Membership does not give you access to any additional data however it does allow you to take 'clippings' of the tree for you to download. Select Login at the top right to sign up to an account.
